The Teen Anxiety Coach is the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. This means we are responsible for how your data is collected, used, and stored.

Why we need your data

We need your data to:

Provide you with tailored therapy sessions that meet your individual needs and goals.

Contact you in case of a change in circumstances or to pass your information to emergency services if you inform us that you are a risk to yourself or others.

We will not collect any personal data that we do not need to provide you with therapy.

What we do with your data
​
All the data we collect is kept confidential between you and your therapist. However, your therapist may discuss your case with their supervisor/supervision team (other therapists) in order to provide you with the best possible service. In these discussions, your personal information will be removed to protect your identity.
We will not share your data with any other person or organization without your explicit consent.
How long we keep your data
​
We are required by law to keep records of our clients until they turn 21 or for 6 years from the end of their therapy (whichever is greater). This includes information about why you are seeking therapy and the notes taken during your sessions.

Paper documents will be scanned and stored electronically, then shredded after your therapy is complete.
Your rights

You have the right to:
